Q: What is a Sustaining Member?

Answer: A Sustaining Member chooses to support KUAF with monthly gifts. You can become a Sustaining member of KUAF for as little as $5 a month. Sustaining members make these monthly gifts ongoing until further - which means you will donate to the station each month, year after year until you tell us you want to stop. Q: How do I tell if I'm a Sustaining Member?

Answer: Send an email to KUAF Membership Director Lisa Ault (member@kuaf.com) if you are unsure if your monthly gifts have stopped.

During our on-air fundraisers, we work as quickly and efficiently as possible to set up new Sustaining memberships and to change existing ones - because of the high volume of donor correspondence, there might be a delay in getting back to you.

Q: How can I pay for my monthly gifts?

Answer: You can give monthly using your credit or debit card, through bank draft or, if you are a University of Arkansas employee of the Fayetteville campus, through payroll deduction. The University requires a form for bank draft and payroll deduction. Email Lisa Ault to receive those forms.

Q: Can I cancel my monthly giving?

Answer: Yes, you can stop your monthly contribution at any time. Simply contact Lisa Ault to stop your Sustaining membership. Please note that depending on the timing of your request, your last monthly contribution may go through before your membership is canceled.

Q: When is my card charged or my bank draft each month?

Answer: Your credit card will be charged on the same day each month as the day you set up your Sustaining membership. Bank drafts will be taken on the 15th of each month, or if the 15th is on a weekend, on the next business day after the 15th. Payroll deductions occur on the last business day of each month.

Q: Do I need to call in during the on-air fundraisers to renew my membership?

Answer: As a Sustaining member, your membership is ongoing and automatically renews each year. To reflect your ongoing contribution, KUAF counts sustaining memberships into our totals for our on-air fundraisers. However, many sustaining members choose to call during our on-air fundraisers to make an increase in their monthly contribution or to make a one-time additional gift. Just make sure the volunteer answering the phone knows you are already a sustaining member.

Q: How can I update my credit card number or expiration date? How can I change my monthly amount or method of payment?

Answer: You can update your giving information, method of payment or amount with a KUAF Member Login account. If you encounter problems or have any questions, email Lisa Ault.

Note: KUAF adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to handling of donor credit and debit card account information. Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations require that KUAF not store actual credit card information on its computers, so when you provide your new expiration date KUAF must also re-enter the card information to update it. Q: Does KUAF sell or share my name?
